Kawaii cute mirror/comb combo for $2
Sometimes you really do get something for nothing and this adorable comb/mirror set is just that. Featuring an array of smiley faced uber cute animals, you can have this perfect little pocket pal for a mere two dollars. The Panda option features blushing cheeks, flowered ears and a blue bowtie and other designs vary from pink and blue bears to odd alien shaped smiles. There isn’t a huge amount to say about this- the mirror isn’t very large, the comb is not ergonomic, but did I mention TWO DOLLARS? What are you expecting, this is adorable!

International Beauty Show New York 2013

The International Beauty Show is an enormous annual event in New York. It features exhibition halls full of sparkling powders, wheezing hairdryers blowing out steam, and high cheery calls of dah-ling and bah-by! Students clutching purses full of twenties wandered the halls, slender feet encased in Uggs, and processed hair teased high.
Vendors attempt to lure them with giveaways, and heavily discounted products. They also had exciting new cosmetic lines to show.
The New York International Beauty Show is a great time to assess what the big beauty trends for the next year will be, and there was a lot to take in. I’m going to showcase some of the cool stuff on offer, and give you a nice little teaser for the months to come.
These Cobra Hairdressing shears were [pretty stunning. Love how they come with different handle designs.
Bright shades remain popular. Thick, heavy pigments were being sold by lots of brands.
This is a pretty cool look, a unique ponytail catcher that gives you that Xena Warrior Princess Look.
Just your average cool body art tutorial…

Nail Rock BodyRock Glitter Tattoo Review

Temporary body tattoos were one of those things we thought we left in the 90′s, along with gummy bracelets, Rainbow Strike and Milkybars. However, recent years have seen temporary tattoos take on a life of their own- chiefly with the help of Chanel and their rather stunning leg decorations- and steep Chanel like pricetag. NailRock, the creators of the stunning nail decals that we love to play with decided to create a rather more wallet friendly line of temporary body art, and I’ve been [playing with some of them in light of it being the holiday season.
I’ve been trying the Body Rock Glitter pack, which contains three sheets of different gold glitzy tattoos, and as I LOVE stars, I just had to go for them.

Holly Go Nightly Sleep Mask
I do love a bit of shuteye, and it’s important to get my 6-8 hours sleep so I don’t frighten little children. This stunning fringed Holly GoNightly sleep mask harks back to the Audrey Hepburn era of glamour and style and the fringed eyelashes are so over the top that they become pretty adorable. Sure, I’m way too blonde to be Holly GoLightly, but at least I can attempt to look stylish in repose.. maybe!
This is a super cute eyemask and would make me smile all over to wear it- or see someone getting shuteye with this on. With Christmas coming and stockings needing to be filled I reckon this is a great way to go. It’s lined in satin so will feel soft on the skin and is super cute!

Hello Kitty Liberty of London makeup bag and a ramble
I briefy touched upon the Liberty Of London Hello Kitty collab when I was previewing the offerings that Boots has for Christmas 2012, and now I have a MUCH better image of the adorable Liberty Of London Hello Kitty toiletry bag to show you. I love how the cute kitty is hiding in the Liberty of London print, and the price (around £10 / $13 ) is very accessible, which makes it a win win all round.
The focus of this blog is shifting away from standard news and reviews and towards a focus on beautiful adorable objects and imagery that elicits smiles, so I figured this sweet makeup bag was a good way to start implementing this new direction. I’m open to suggestions and critique in comments or by Tweets, but you’ll start to see a few changes over the next few weeks.
The reasons behind this are varied; my original desire for a beauty/style blog was to share my love of pretty things and products and offer a sneak behind the scenes view into my world. There are a LOT of other blogs that also do this, and many of them have DSLR camera skills that far surpass mine. Whilst I still believe there is a place for sneak peek photos and reviews of products, I also think that I want to celebrate more of the loveliness the world has to offer. Sure, not everyone might be able to buy ultra cute Korean cosmetics or wear ridiculous but amazing panda heels, but it’s OK to adore them and think WTF at the same time.
I’m addicted to beauty in ALL its forms, and I’m going to try and reflect that more in future. xo

Etude House Beauty Blender dupe

My recent dabble with Korean beauty products has no doubt ended in a lifelong obsession as everything I picked up whilst in Seoul has ended up being amazing. The latest item I want to share is this cute pink foundation blending sponge, packed in an adorable box which makes it look Heidi-esuqe. It also resembles something else…dum dee dah- THE BEAUTY BLENDER
Etude House is quickly becoming my favourite of the various Korean Beauty Brands I have tried, and I’m completely in love with this adorable blending sponge. It’s round, tapered and has a great latex texture.. and yes, it is JUST LIKE THE EXPENSIVE BEAUTY BLENDER which retails for over $20 / £15- and this was £1 /$2. It’s incredible- the price is a fraction of that of the famous beauty blender and this is every bit as good.

M Therapy Beauty Pod -HELP needed!

The MTherapy Beauty Pod looks pretty hi-tech and impressive but I’m finding it hard to ascertain what it actually DOES. Yes, I’ve read the THREE lines of info, and googled a fair bit, but all that has left me with is a blurb that’s not very well explained.
Here’s what they say;
‘The MTherapy Facial Rejuvenation system is designed to reduce the visible signs of ageing on your skin, such as fine lines and wrinkles. It will also combat dry, dull and devitalised skin, enlarged pores and uneven texture while pumping up the skin for a global rejuvenating effect. It uses a unique method of steam delivery to apply its advanced formula of Liquids to your skin’.
