Boots Christmas 2012 Beauty Preview

The Boots Christmas offerings are always exciting- as is their 3 for 2 deal, so I was excited to have a look at what they were showcasing for the upcoming year. It varies from celeb collaborations to new cutesy brands, and amazingly they are doing another round with Liberty of London again for adorable bath and body treats with the Hello Kitty cat. It’s very bizarre being a journalist sometimes as holly tress, mistletoe and mince pies feel completely out of place in July, but the annual Xmas in July showcase does have a reason.

July is when a lot of stores start placing their seasonal orders- and when many magazines start working on their Winter features. Showing product lines now helps journos and bloggers be aware of what will be available, what they want to cover- and give us all a sneak peek to look forward too. Christmas in July will always be an odd event, but Boots made it very exciting this year with their amazing line up of products.

Liberty of London Hello Kitty Collection for Boots

Liberty of London and Hello Kitty have teamed up AGAIN to offer amazing ultra collectible compacts and gift bags for a great price. The Cute Cosmetic Collection Purse will be £14, and I love the pretty pink print (blue/purple also on offer). It’s nice to see this come into stores again and  will no doubt be mobbed by loyal Liberty of London fans. Not sure on the quality of the makeup, but sold on packaging alone.

FCUK have a Beauty rebrand

French Connection are slowly rebranding their beauty offerings, and this slick looking six piece nail set has a black gloss overhaul. Six varnishes for £12, and you get a sweet carrybag as well.

Minne Couture

Minnie Mouse has a loyal fanbase who can now get beautified in her image.. maybe. They can buy Minnie themed toiletries with a red, pink and black palette, with the adorable bow ever present.

Betty and Walter beauty from Lisa Stickley

This brand is from home designer Lisa Stickley and has a classic old timey feel to it. Adorably it was inspired by Lisa’s real life Aunt Betty and Uncle Walter! It has a lovely retro feel to it, with oversized lids, and a timeless feel- prett adorable.

Henry Holland releases his first Boots beauty collection

Bright bags, neon prints and cheeky slogans make this a covetable collection- I think the items here are adorable and the designs are very unisex, which is a bonus.

Fearne Cotton Christmas Beauty

Fearne is beloved for her cool punky style and her beauty offerings reflect that with tattoo prints and cool monochrome styling. I like how boudoir-y they feel, and that the designs are copied through every product, from the washes to the bags.
