Too Cool for School Korea Beauty Shop

I recently visited South Korea and discovered that it’s essentially MECCA for beauty addicts- beauty stores are more frequent than Starbucks, and every time you buy ANYTHING you get gifted a huge amount of samples and freebies. I’m going to be sharing with you some of my cool finds, but I wanted to start by introducing you to an adorable brand I discovered whilst there- Too Cool For School.

The Too Cool For School Korean shop is decorated to look like a crazy classroom, featuring cha;k boards, pencil clips and bookcases on the walls (with beauty products in them).

Their collection is crazy cute and I swooned over their Lip Crayons- WHICH LOOK LIKE CRAYOLA CRAYONS!  They were around £2.50 each, and the finish was really sheer on the lips, so even the blue option wasn’t that scary.

Everything in store was decorated with amazing cartoon designs, and these featured heavily on powders, blushers- all the boxes had these cute figurines on them. I tried to ask the staff who/what they were, but my Korean pretty much consists of ‘thank you’ and ‘I’m from London’ so I have NO idea -please enlighten me!

The Too Cool For School brand is uber cute, and the products are pretty good as well- not major staying power for the lip crayons, but the finish was lovely and when it’s this kawaii who cares?
