Tesco 99p nail varnish range : Yay or Nay?
Tesco has been my favourite supermarket for years. When I was a little girl I’d trail after my Dad as he did the weekly shop, sneaking in a lipstick or sweet on a mutual agreement ( a shaken head, a sigh, a half smile). In recent years they’ve ballooned in terms of offerings- amazing F+F collections and the exclusive stocks of Diego Dalla Palma, a brand that we’re going to hear so much MORE of in the UK.
They’ve just introduced a 99p nail varnish range and I’m very happy. There are 20 shades in the collection and they range from reds and pinks to mocha and taupey shades. I haven’t tried them so I can’t tell you if the quality is any good, but I just like the way they are making beauty accessible to all pricepoints.
The bottle design looks pretty basic- well they are saving on money- and I also wonder what this will mean for their other brands, such as Barbara Daly (one of my first intros into the beauty world via Tesco store and a nice Dad).
The full range is available at selected stores nationwide and online now- let me know if you’ve tried it!

Whaaaa?? 99p is my kinda price and Tesco is my regular store (even got the app on my phone) I hadn’t seen these, so thank you for the heads up. I’m definately going to keep my eye out for these
Great deal, huh? Hope the qaulity lives up to the hype!
They are pretty good. Friggin awesome for the price; not what I’d buy if I could scrounge up more pennies from behind the sofa cushions. So a nice middle ground to try new colours or to get your beauty fix at the end of the month.
I used to buy F&F when it was a nice brand in the states, so I’m with ya on loving Tescos for bringing great quality fashion brands to the masses!
