Glossybox Valentine’s Day February 2012 Edition : Full contents review
Beauty boxes have been big news in the beauty world for a while now, and I think it;s about time I shared my love of them with you. The concept behind the idea is simple- you pay a monthly subscription to the Brand and very month you receive some beauty items as a surprise. They tend to be high end brands and you usually get a full size product as well as some quality miniatures from brand you might not have tried.
There are a variety of brands that offer this service and my favourite has to be Glossybox. I’ll give you a side by side comparison soon, but suffice to say Glossybox has AMAZING packaging ( I re-use all boxes as makeup storage) comes with lovely presentation and always contains amazing brands. Yes, I have more access to these brands than a non beauty blogger which is why I can recommend them so highly!
This is what my February Glossybox contained (note; different boxes contain different samples).
EYEKO Skinny Eyeliner
I like using this eyeliner, it’s easy to get a thin defined line and is great for feline flicks. The new packaging is also pretty to look at, and the teal blue is very striking.
Clarins extra firming night cream and Clarins extra firming day cream
I like Clarins products so it was great to discover some new ones, and these felt really nice on the skin. The night cream was my favourite- it felt really gentle and left my skin feeling ultra smooth. The size of these were perfect for taking to the gym and on trips and I’m thinking of getting the full size versions.
F.A.B (First Aid Beauty) Gentle Body Wash
This is a lovely product to use, it lathers up really nicely and I’m a big fan of their intensive cream so it was good to try other products in their range.
MURAD Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer
I LOVE Murad, and have a full size version of this primer, so was amazed this sample was included. It literally gives you an amazing dewy complexion and it full of Murad style science, so you must give this a whirl!
A new (ish) thing they’ve added is that you pay £10 + P+P (£2.95) a month and can cancel monthly- so if you don’t likey, you don’t have to buy anymore!
