Colour B4 Hair Remover review: Red- Blonde miracle

Some serious shade changes going on- but the same red lippie!

I tend to be fairly dubious when it comes to specialist hair remover products – designed for the home. There’s one thing going in salon for a treatment but can you really trust an at home product for your tender tresses?

This is what Colour B4 claim to do;

Has your DIY colour has gone wrong and you need colour correction? Perhaps your tight budget convinced you to reach for a bottle of at-home hair colour and the results were not what you expected? It may be tempting to run to your nearest salon in a woolly hat and ask them to fix your mistake, but this could also set you back hundreds of pounds.
Solution:
Colour B4, hair colour remover
Available in two strengths, Regular (RRP £9.99) and Extra Strength (RRP £11.99), Colour B4 shrinks the hair colour molecules, which can then be washed way, therefore removing any previous permanent or semi-permanent hair colour. These results can be achieved very quickly and the formula contains no bleach or ammonia, plus the kit includes a special after treatment ‘buffer’. Your hair can be re-coloured immediately, without risk of your old colour affecting your new shade

A super brave friend of mine had been bored of her auburn locks for a while and wanted to go back to blonde- the hardest colour to change to make EVER. Low on funds she opted for this and with her permission I’m sharing her story.

We ( I mean me and other friends with hair woes) were pretty dubious this would work. However..

‘It was really easy to use, I followed the instructions and the adverts in TV did play a part in me trying this.’

Her Original RED

The Colour B4 Hair remover radically lightened her hair to an almost peroxide blonde shade so she then went to a hairdresser for more golden tones.

‘I did have a visit to the hairdresser in between the pics you see so the blonde I went to wasnt quite just from this -

The inbetween blonde

‘cos i’d been red and the red is so bright the red dye has peroxide in it, so my hair was a bit orangey blonde, but it was amazing (smells eggy though!!) - i was very impressed with how it works!!!”

Her current hair colour

I was impressed at how soft and shiny the hair was- nos stringiness or dryness and it looks healthy and vibrant, making me think that there’s something too this product after all.

Would you try it?
